Joyce Lillis_Bay ClubHere I am with Erin, one of my clients, who lost 12 pounds already in 15 days.  We are together at The Bay Cub book signing for my new book, Stop the Torment: Conquer Your Relationship with Food.

There was a big turnout.  Erin Fleming first conducted a fabulous Melt Class and then I spoke about Stop the Torment: Conquer Your Relationship with Food’s new approach to weight loss and weight management and how it uncovers the triggers that keep us yo-yo dieting so once you reach your goal weight you will never have to diet again.

The people were engaged and had several questions about how I came to write a book that offered hope that food can be a pleasurable experience to enjoy and relinquish guilt from indulging in special foods when at a party or event.

We shared some wine, cheese and crackers and our experiences of dieting, laughing about how food plays such a greater role in our lives and in our minds than it needs to.  A fun time was had by all.
